Ability to rename a computer

Even if its not a good practice, the client requires certain policies. One of them is a specific computer name which includes also the user name. What happens is that the employees are changing time to time and so does the name of a computer.
It would be good to have the ability to rename the computer because of other features like history of changes which would be lost when the computer is deleted and added as "new".

When syncing from Active Directory the name will update as long as the computer's GUID remains the same. But, it's a good idea to add the ability to manually update.
The problem arises when you are not using AD but text files. The main reason is that not all tools work with AD and for batch scripting its simpler to use a text file.
