With the free PDQ Deploy I have to manually re-deploy to failed computers, is it possible to somehow let the deployment automatically re-deploy to these failed computers a specified number of times?
Comments
We are currently working on this for the Pro version and it may eventually find its way to the free version.
This would be a great option!
We're going to implement this as part of schedules.
This would be an excellent option to have.
An additional part to this feature I think it would be nice to "Redeploy this many before quitting" or retry limit. Such that if a redeployment fails x amount of times, it's left in a failed state.
Ken,
Good idea, thanks, and good timing. We're just about to start the design phase on this.
Great to hear Adam, guessing you have some great ideas already on the implementation. I'm guessing you'll have this in combination with the Schedule ability. (ex. Schedule once, with a re-deploy option with an interval (hours, days, etc) then max attempts).
That's the plan right now. It's actually our most requested feature so it's priority #1 with the next beta.
This functionality is now complete and will be in the next public beta (1.5.0 beta 3).
Perfect, can't wait to give it a go. Thanks for the update
