The Messenger service needs to be running on both the Console machine and any target systems that will recieve Event Popups. To Verify if your system has the Messenger service running go to the Run command from the start menu and enter services.msc After the services windows opens, navigate to the Messenger service. You will be able to make changes to the service as needed. Please note that you need to be an Administrator to change the state of a service.
