Hi,

we'd like to setup tasks which are done to all online computers immediately AND to all offline/unavailable computers as soon as they come online.
If that's already possible please move this to the right board and tell me how, else pls. add that feature.

Thanks, Frank

Depending on what you want to do, you may be able to use a Heartbeat Monitor. It can be fired when a computer comes online/offline and then trigger one or more actions.

I'm sorry I haven't been explicit enough.
When deploying updates (or other software) we want to choose the group of computers (see other post) and define a DEPLOY job.
That job shall be done to all members of that group as soon as they are available (the online ones immediately, all others as soon as they come online).

I don't see I was able to accomplish that by a (Heartbeat-) Monitor

Thank you, Frank

Yes, unfortunately deployments is one thing that can't be triggered by a monitor.

The type of deployment you're talking about is on our future feature list, and I'll add your vote to move it up in priority.
